Hirosaki Park (Hirosaki)

Location 1 Shimoshiroganecho, Hirosaki, Aomori
Features One of the "Three Greatest Sakura Spots in Japan." Around 2,600 trees bloom around Hirosaki Castle. The "Hana-ikada" (flower carpet) that covers the moat with petals, the illuminated night view, and the oldest Yoshino cherry tree in Japan make it look like a masterpiece painting.

Ashino Park (Goshogawara)

Location Ashino, Kanagi-cho, Goshogawara, Aomori
Features Selected as one of the "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan." A retro train from the Tsugaru Railway runs through a tunnel of full-bloomed cherry trees—a breathtaking sight for both railway fans and nature lovers. Around 1,500 trees decorate the lakeside.

Gappo Park (Aomori City)

Features A rare seaside park facing Mutsu Bay. About 600 cherry trees bloom here, allowing visitors to enjoy the blossoms along with the sea breeze. The contrast between the sandy beach, green pines, and pink blossoms is exceptionally beautiful and loved by locals.

Towada City Kanchogai-dori (Towada)

Features One of "Japan's Top 100 Roads." Over 150 cherry trees and nearly 160 pines line this 1.1km street. It offers a modern landscape where cherry blossoms blend with art installations from the Towada Art Center. The night illumination is particularly stunning.

Kuroishi Park (Higashi Park) (Kuroishi)

Features Home to about 700 cherry trees of 50 different varieties. This diversity allows for a longer viewing season. From the observatory, you can see Kuroishi City with the majestic Mt. Iwaki in the background.

Shiroyama Park (Sannohe Castle Ruins) (Sannohe)

Location Uenai Shironoshita, Sannohe, Sannohe District, Aomori
Features The former site of the Nanbu clan's castle. Known as the best sakura spot in the southern Aomori region, about 1,600 trees cover the mountain. The cherry blossoms set against the reconstructed three-story castle museum create a historic atmosphere.

Hayakakenuma Park (Mutsu)

Location 40-1 Tanabu Uchiute, Mutsu, Aomori
Features A representative spot of the Shimokita Peninsula. Along with 400 cherry trees, visitors can see the rare green-petaled "Gyoiko" sakura. It is a quiet lakeside location where you can feel the arrival of spring at the northern tip of Honshu.

Ogawarako Park (Tohoku Town)
