Kajo Park (Yamagata City)

Location 1-7 Kajomachi, Yamagata City, Yamagata
Features An urban park built on the site of Yamagata Castle, featuring about 1,500 cherry trees. It is the most famous spot in the city. Matsugaoka Kaikonjo (Tsuruoka)

The unique landscape features cherry blossoms surrounding five massive three-story silk-rearing houses, telling the story of the local sericulture industry.

Mogami River Embankment (Nagai / Oe, etc.)

Sagae Park (Sagae)
