Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Arashiyama

As they bloom slightly later than Yoshino trees, they allow visitors to enjoy Kyoto's spring for a longer period.

Philosopher's Path (Tetsugaku-no-michi)

Features A walking path along the canal leading from Ginkaku-ji to near Nanzen-ji. About 450 Yoshino trees form a tunnel for 2 km. The "Hana-ikada" (flower rafts), where petals fall and dye the canal pink, is exceptionally beautiful, offering a quiet, emotional atmosphere perfect for contemplation.

Nijo Castle

Kyoto Gyoen National Garden

Amanohashidate
