Osaka Castle Park

Location Osaka-jo, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka
Features One of the "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan." About 3,000 trees, mainly Yoshino, bloom within the vast grounds surrounded by Important Cultural Properties. The "Nishinomaru Garden" is a spectacular spot where you can enjoy the illuminated main keep and nighttime blossoms simultaneously. The "upside-down sakura" reflected in the moat is also a must-see.

Japan Mint (Cherry Blossom Tunnel)

Location 1-1-79 Tenma, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka
Features A signature spring tradition in Osaka. About 340 trees of 140 varieties, mainly double-layered "Yaezakura" such as Kanzan and Fugenzo, bloom along a 560-meter path. It reaches its peak later than Yoshino trees, offering the chance to see rare varieties up close. The "Tori-nuke" (walk-through), which requires advance reservation, attracts many visitors every year.

Expo '70 Commemorative Park

Location Senri Banpaku Koen, Suita City, Osaka
Features One of the "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan." Surrounding the iconic "Tower of the Sun," about 5,500 trees of nine varieties, including Yoshino and Sato-zakura, fill the park. The rows of trees stretching from the East Plaza are impressive in scale. During night illumination, visitors can enjoy a unique atmosphere created by the tower's presence and the glowing blossoms.

Kema Sakuranomiya Park

Location Nakano-cho, Miyakojima-ku, Osaka City, Osaka, etc.
Features A riverside cherry blossom spot stretching for about 4.2 km along the Okawa River. With approximately 4,800 trees, it is perfect for a stroll while feeling the river breeze. "Hanami Cruises" from water buses are also popular. The long pink ribbon of blossoms against the backdrop of urban skyscrapers creates a quintessential Osaka spring landscape.

Kishiwada Castle

Location 9-1 Kishiki-cho, Kishiwada City, Osaka
Features Affectionately known as "Chikiri-jo." About 170 cherry trees bloom around the moat, beautifully decorating the reconstructed main keep and the heavy stone walls. At night, lanterns are lit, creating a mystical reflection of the castle and blossoms on the water. This spring scenery is a source of local pride, rivaling the famous Danjiri Festival.

Yamanakadani

Location Yamanakadani, Hannan City, Osaka
Features About 1,000 cherry trees bloom along the tracks near JR Yamanakadani Station and the banks of the Yamanaka River. It is famous among railway enthusiasts as a spot where you can photograph trains and blossoms together. This calm hanami spot retains the atmosphere of an old post town on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route.

Sayamaike Park

Features A park developed around Japan's oldest dam-type reservoir. Visitors can enjoy flower viewing while walking the 2.8 km promenade around the pond with refreshing waterside views.

Nagai Park

Location Nagai Koen, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka
Features A comprehensive park loved as an urban oasis. About 800 trees bloom throughout the grounds, but the "Botanical Garden" area is highly recommended. Visitors can enjoy hanami in an open environment, with blossoms by the large pond and rows surrounding the spacious lawn. It is a popular spot with excellent accessibility.

Katsuo-ji Temple

Features An ancient temple famous for "Kachi-daruma" (winning dolls). Upon entering the mountain gate, a solemn landscape of vermilion pagodas and weeping blossoms unfolds, often enhanced by mystical mist-like effects.

Settsukyo Park

Features A park located at the entrance of Settsukyo Gorge, a scenic spot in the Hokusetsu region. Surrounded by valley rocks, clear streams, and rich nature, it is a perfect spot for active visitors to enjoy BBQ and flower viewing.
